In response to the spirit of self-directed learning advocated by the Ministry of Education's 108 Curriculum Guidelines, the Science Education Center and the team from National Taiwan Normal University jointly designed the permanent exhibition area on the 5th floor titled "Self-directed Learning Map." We hope that visitors to the center can learn systematic scientific knowledge through the guidance of learning maps and construct their own mental maps of scientific learning.

The "Self-directed Learning Map" are based on the concept of scientific concept maps, which outline suitable learning routes for elementary school and junior high school levels. Each route includes corresponding maps, learning sheets, and assessment questions, allowing users to engage in self-assessment, thereby achieving effective learning.
